Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘அறிவு ஒழுக்கம் உயர்வு’ meaning ‘Knowledge Discipline Excellence’ is inscribed. The shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to learning, knowledge, education and wisdom; the hoe refers to agriculture; the gopuram refers to divine blessings and guidance; the lamps symbolise light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
