SHAHAJIRAO PATIL VIKAS PRATISHTHAN, S.B.PATIL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (SBPCOE) The emblem of Shahajirao Patil Vikas Pratishthan, S.B.Patil College of Engineering (SBPCOE) features a ‘laman diya’ Maharashtrian traditional lamp supported by an open book and circumscribed by the tagline of the college. The motifs are ensconced by a brown circular border inscribed with the name of the college. The seal is supported by a brown banner inscribed with the motto of the the college in Sanskrit ‘संघशक्तयः जनहिताय’ meaning ‘Strength in Unity for Public Welfare’. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
