Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB) is a Scheduled Bank established on November 30, 1983 under Regional Rural Bank Act 1976. It is sponsored by State Bank of India (SBI) in collaboration with the Government of India and Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The circular emblem of the APRB has green mountains with red sun rising from them in a sky-blue background, ensconced by a green border bearing the name of the bank. The mountains and sun represent the sunrise State of Arunachal Pradesh and also denote the new beginning for the people and industry of rural areas of the State. Light blue colour denotes the vast opportunities the opens up for the stakeholders and the trust one can repose on the bank. Green is the colour of hope, freedom, agriculture, nature and fertility which the bank intends to promote.
