The blue rectangular emblem of GLS University (GLSU) has a shield in which motifs of a globe, a mortarboard hat and its acronym ‘GLS’ are placed. Below the shield, on a banner its slogan ‘Learn Love Serve’ is written. At the right the name of the university is written in serif typeface. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘उद्वयं तमसः परि’ (1.50.10, Rig Veda) meaning ‘Beholding the Light Above the Darkness’ is written on top of the shield.

DOORDARSHAN 1959 Doordarshan (DD) is an autonomous public service broadcaster founded by the Government of India, which is one of two divisions of Prasar Bharati. Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO).
