The blue colour emblem of PDM University (PDMU) is its name written in lowercase letters with the letter ‘d’ treated as a globe with flame. It symbolises its motto ‘Florentissimae Sub Gloriam Dei’ meaning ‘Flourishing Under the Glory of God’. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAMSHEDPUR National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur (NIT Jamshedpur) or NITJSR) was formally inaugurated on August 15, 1960 at Adityapur. On December 27, 2002 RIT, Jamshedpur was upgraded to National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur with the Deemed University status. Its insignia in the form of an oblong shield has a number of elements and motifs within. Its name and place supported by two laurels of cereals; map of India within a gear wheel circumscribed by a revolving line; an electrical transmission tower; a scientific experiment; a burning lamp; a reservoir dam and a banner with its motto ‘शंन ॠभवः सुकृतः सुहस्ताः’ meaning ‘Well Done Well Handled’.

The peacock in its emblem represents the exuberance and pride in IIM Rohtak’s vision to be a global leader, while the Sanskrit words which read ‘Management Through Knowledge and Values’ (ज्ञानेन गुणेन च प्रबंधः) signify IIM Rohtak’s mission of knowledge diffusion, social commitment and value system (or corporate governance). Green circle represents the nature and environment that is fundamental to society’s progress and human happiness, whereas the red circle represents the vibrancy of the youth that energises education and sustains the progress of society. Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) is one of the prestigious engineering colleges in Karnataka. Established in 1997. VVCE is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Its emblem is a gearwheel with sixteen teeth in a dark violet colour encompassing a yellow border and a light green circle. The border carries the name of the college. The light green circle has a magnetic circuit, a manufacturing plant, a satellite, a dish antenna and a transmission tower, a tree, a bridge, a computer and a flask. This covers all the major areas of learning in the college. Its acronym is placed below the emblem.

Aurora - the name of the institution is derived from Aurora Borealis, the celestial northern lights. It also has association with the Sun God Apollo and the Roman Goddess of Dawn, Aurora. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ANDHRA PRADESH National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh (NIT AP) is the thirty-first institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. NIT Andhra Pradesh was established in the state of Andhra Pradesh recently in the academic year 2015-2016. Its circular emblem has a ‘Poorna Kumbham’ or ‘Kalasha’ which means ‘Full or Complete Vessel’ when the pot is referred to as the Kalasha. The Purna-Kalasha is considered a symbol of abundance and 'Source of Life' in the Vedas. Purna-Kumbha is a Vedic motif, known from the time of Rigveda. It is held above the lotus, which is supported by a book and a pair of laurels of cereal on both the sides. These are ensconced in a circle, which is closed by a circular gear wheel, on which the name of the institute in Hindi and English and its tagline ‘श्रमेव जयते’ meaning ‘Hard Work Triumphs’ are written.
