The logo of Yoga Mandir (Dr S N Omkar) has a pair of hands doing ‘namaste’ placed above a yellow sun, below which its name is written in grey. The motif of ‘namaste’ represents the combination of the Sanskrit words ‘namah’ which means ‘bow’ and ‘te’, which means ‘to you’. It means that ‘I bow to you’ or ‘The divine in me bows to the divine in you’. The colour yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour grey denotes strength, longevity, unemotional, detached, balanced and impartial, power, influence, wisdom and intelligence.

The Executive Council of the Central University of Bihar passed a resolution and accepted the logo of the university on November 20, 2010. 8 MOUNTAIN DIVISION The 8 Mountain Division was raised in 1963 to combat insurgency in Nagaland. The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School was established at Vairangte, Mizoram to impart pre-induction training to all the incoming units. Towards the end of the 1960s, this Division had well over thirty battalions under command, including those of the Assam Rifles and the other Central Police Organisations. The formation badge and sleeve patch of this Division has numeral 8 in gold with red dagger through the centre on black background.

SIDO KANHU MURMU UNIVERSITY The erstwhile Sido Kanhu University (SKU), now rechristened Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) was founded on January 10, 1992 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly. With the formation of the State of Jharkhand in 2000 the university comes under the new State Government of Jharkhand. The circular emblem of the university has a stem of tendu with three leaves surrounded by a swan, palash flower, mahua flower bud and its motto in Sanskrit ‘नीरक्षीरविवेकिनी  विद्या’ meaning ‘Education to Discriminate Water and Milk’.
