SMART CITY MISSION

Smart City Mission was launched by the Hon’ Prime Minister on June 25, 2015. The main objective of the mission is to promote cities that provide core infrastructure, clean and sustainable environment and give a decent quality of life to their citizens through the application of ‘smart solutions’. The mission aims to drive economic growth and improve quality of life through comprehensive work on social, economic, physical and institutional pillars of the city. The pictorial emblem of this mission is a butterfly, transforming itself from a grey and dull colour to the bright and vibrant colours. The transformation is shown by the pixelation of the picture and the letter 'i'. This also uses the colours of the national flag - orange and green. The name and tagline ‘Mission Transform Nation’ is written below. The elements of the logo are aligned to the right to give a forward and upward looking visual momentum.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.

(Aska CCB) has a green monogram of the bank’s initials placed in a circle and ensconced by a circular border with red outlines inscribed with its name. The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, and wealth and red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

14 CORPS The 14 Corps of the Indian Army is a part of the Army’s Udhampur-based Northern Command. It was raised after the Kargil War in 1999, to control troops in Ladakh. It currently consists of 3rd Infantry Division. The division was created in October 1962 in Ladakh. It fought in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. Until 1990, it was headquartered at Kohima under III Corps. It is headquartered at Kumbathang, near Kargil. The sleeve patch of this Corps is red horizontal striped patch intersected with a white stripe in the background with two crossed torches (Vajra) with trident at their ends and wand in the foreground.

BISWA BANGLA BISWABIDYALAY Biswa Bangla Biswabidyalay (BBB) was established in 2020 as a liberal arts university in Bolpur, West Bengal. This university is also known as Bolpur University or Biswa Bangla University. The emblem of the university has an open book with its acronym in Bengali written on it and crested by a blue circle depicting a human being and supported by the nib of a pen. All these are ensconced by a green circular border which carries its motto in Bengali ‘তামসো মা জ্যোতির্গময়ঃ’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ and its year of establishment. These are circumscribed by its name in Bengali and English in blue colour.

The yellow circular border is inscribed with its name and place in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावाँल्लभते ज्ञानं तत्परः संयतेन्द्रियः’ (Shloka 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘He who has Mastered his Senses, is Exclusively Devoted to his Practice and is Full of Faith, Attains Knowledge’.
