Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal (IIIT-Bhopal), is one of the IIITs in PPP model. Its emblem is circular and has a dominant blue border, on which its name is written in Devanagari and English. It ensconces its acronym as a monogram in the national tricolour. The dot of first ‘i’ is depicted as a ‘WiFi’ symbol and the t’s horizontal stroke is extended towards left to give symmetry and balance to the logo. Its motto ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ in Sanskrit meaning ‘Education is Equivalent to Nectar’ is written on a banner below the monogram.

The cyan, green and red emblem of the university has a plaque with rising sun above flowing waters supported by two palm trees and crested its motto in Arabic ‘طلب العلم فريضة’ meaning ‘Seeking Knowledge is an Obligation’.
