Below the shield its motto ‘In Pursuit of Knowledge and Excellence’ is inscribed on a banner. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gears symbolise interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order; structure and the antenna denotes engineering and technology and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
