The fresh green, bluish green, red and black insignia of National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control (NCVBDC) has a motif of a family surrounded by a red protective ring and crested by a red arc preventing a mosquito. Below the motif, its name is written in Devanagari and its acronym written in English. On the left of the name Staff of Hermes is placed. The colours used denote a healthy and protected family from insects and the Staff refers to medicine and meical profession.
