VIVEKANANDA VIDYALAYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (VVBED COLLEGE) The emblem of Vivekananda Vidyalaya College of Education (VVBed College) features a portrait of Swami Vivekananda ensconced by a brown circular gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college. The motto of the college ‘Arise Awake Achieve’ is written on a brown banner placed below the shield. The name of the place of college is written on a plaque placed at the bottom. Swami Vivekanada was a pivotal Indian Hindu monk and chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramhansa who modernized Hinduism and introduced Indian Vedanta and Yoga to the West. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
