VLB JANAKIAMMAL COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE (AUTONOMOUS) (VLBJCAC) The emblem of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) (VLBJCAC) features a red and blue shield with four quadrants, with each quadrant inscribed with different elements namely,  red and blue stripes, its initials ‘VLBJ’, an atomic diagram and a globe. The shield denotes  protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; red and blue stripes denotes integrity and trust; the name of the college; the atomic diagram denotes science and technology; and the globe refers to education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness.
