SHREE RAMCHANDRA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (SRES PUNE) The emblem of Shree Ramchandra College of Engineering (SRES Pune) features an open book supporting a traditional Maharshtrian lamp ‘Samai’ and supported by the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्यैव सर्वधनम्’ meaning ‘Wealth of Knowledge is The Greatest of All Riches’. The motifs are surmounted by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a red banner inscribed with the name of the place of the college and its year of establishment. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
