The oval shaped emblem of Arasan Ganesan College of Preceptors (AGCP) features the emblem of We Two Fireworks Industries with a pair of parrots in a yellow circle, a traditional lamp, a pair of sparklers and the portraits of the founders of the college ensconced by a magenta border inscribed with the name of the college and its year of inception. The emblem with parrots is of the sponsoring corporate of the college; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the cracklers refer to the products of the sponsoring company.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed. The motifs inside the petals refer to the applications of water in daily life of society.
