ARUNA VIDYA ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (AVASC) The emblem of Aruna Vidya Arts and Science College (AVASC) features an open book transforming into a blue lotus supporting a full glowing sun and supported by a pair of laurels. The motifs are ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college. A blue banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘United We Succeed’ is placed below the seal. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the blue lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) symbolizes spiritual awakening, wisdom, rebirth, and purity; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the laurels  are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

ANNAI VIOLET ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE (AVASC) The emblem of Annai Violet Arts & Science College (AVASC) features a globe of the world forming the centre of a 12 coloured flower with 12 petals. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the flower refers to the Anahata (heart) chakra and yoga, representing love, compassion, harmony, and emotional balance; and the 12 colours refer to the s a rich symbol representing holistic unity, cosmic order, and spiritual transformation. The number twelve is widely regarded as a symbol of completeness - encompassing the 12 months, 12 zodiac signs, and 12 hours on a clock.

ANNA VINAYAGAR ARTS AND SCIENCE (AVASC) The emblem of Anna Vinayagar Arts and Science (AVASC) features a shield housing a circle inscribed with an image of Lord Ganesha supported by an open book at the bottom and a pair of traditional hanging lamps on sides with the name and place of the college written along the periphery. On a banner placed below the shield the motto of the college in Tamil ‘வாய்மையே வெல்லும்’ meaning ‘Truth Alone Triumphs’ is inscribed. The shield is crested with a tiara. Lord Ganesha symbolises symbolises wisdom, prosperity, beginnings and removal of obstacles; the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lamps symbolise light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the tiara refers to royalty, status, power, wealth, beauty, victory and divinity.
