LRG GOVERNMENT ARTS COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, TIRUPPUR (LRGGAC) The emblem of LRG Government Arts College For Women, Tiruppur (LRGGAC) features the motifs of an open book, a building and a ‘kuthuvilakku’ (a traditional lamp) ensconced by three banners forming a triangular shape inscribed with the motto ‘உண்மை வாய்மை மெய்மை’ meaning ‘Truth Veracity Reality’. The book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the building refers to the façade of the college; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
