ANNAI AYESHA ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (AAASCW) The blue shield-shaped emblem of Annai Ayesha Arts and Science College for Women (AAASCW) features an open book of Holy Quran on a book reading stand supported by a crescent and ensconced by a pair of laurels. The motifs are surmounted by a banner inscribed with the name of the college. The motto of the college 'Virtuous Humane Knowledge’ is inscribed on a banner placed on the shield at the bottom. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to the divine knowledge and guidance; the crescent refers to the college’s Islamic orientation; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
