Patil Institute of Technology (SRPIT) features the motifs of an open book, a human with a mortarboard hat and a pair of laurels and its initials ‘SPRIT’, ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the human with a mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
