RABIAMMAL AHAMED MAIDEEN WOMEN’S COLLEGE (RAMWC) The emblem of Rabiammal Ahamed Maideen Women’s College (RAMWC) features a blue shield inscribed with the name and place of the college, motifs of a stack of books, a torch with flame, and a computer and supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘We Breed Better Citizens’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the books refer to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the torch of flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the computer refers to science and technology.
