PHALTAN EDUCATION SOCIETY'S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (COE PHALTAN) The circular emblem of Phaltan Education Society's College of Engineering (COE Phaltan) features a veena with a swan head placed in front of a poorna kumbha with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्यामर्थं च साधयेत्’ (a proverb, which tells the importance of time management and acquisition of knowledge and wealth) meaning ‘KnowledgeShould be Acquired by making good use of every moment; Wealth Should be Collected by Saving Every Bit’ written above. The veena symbolises culture, heritage, arts and tradition; the swan is sacred and is a symbol of grace and beauty; and the poorna kumbha symbolises the fullness or completeness of life.
