The green colour emblem of Aravindar Arts And Science College (AASC) features the emblem of Sri Aurobindo and the college’s initials ‘SAC’ ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college ‘Education for Prosperity’ is inscribed. The symbol of Sri Aurobindo has two intersecting triangles. The descending triangle represents Sat-Chit-Ananda and the ascending triangle represents the aspiring answer from matter under the form of life, light and love. The central square is the perfect manifestation having a lotus in the centre which is the Avatar of the Supreme. The water inside the square represents the multiplicity, the creation. The colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The motto in Urdu ‘زندگی شمع کی صورت ہو خدایا میری’, which translates to ‘O God! May My Life Be Like That of a Candle’. The chinar leaf refers to Jammu and Kashmir, the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lighted candle symbolises enlightenment and the removal of darkness (ignorance), representing how knowledge guides a student's path and spreads light into society.
