The logo of Vishnu Lakshmi B.Ed (VLBEd) features a pictogram of a black circle with golden border inscribed with a bow and arrow supported by the initials of the group ‘VILCET’, supported by a pair of golden laurels. The name of the college is written on the right in brown sans-serif capitals with the motto of the college ‘Facilitating Education’ written below. The black circle symbolises mystery and the end of one phase and the beginning of another; the bow and arrow centers on power, focus, and direction, representing both physical martial prowess and spiritual aim; the laurels are are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the colour gold signifies wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. The circular emblem of the university has an open book supporting a lotus with a background of mountains and surmounted by atomic structure. These are ensconced by a yellow circular border which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ on one side and its name in Kashmiri on the other side.
