ARIES ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (AASCW) The emblem of Aries Arts And Science College For Women (AASCW) features a blue shield inscribed with the motifs of a n open book, a traditional lamp, a mortarboard hat and a veena supported by a green banner inscribed with the year of inception of the college. The shield is placed on an orange circle ensconced by a border bearing the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the tagline of the college ‘Learning Bestows Wisdom’ is written. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the veena is the symbol of art, culture, heritage and history.

ARASU ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (WOMEN) (AASCW) The blue emblem of Arasu Arts and Science College (Women) (AASCW) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a charka, an open book with a nib of a pen, a farmer with a hoe and a globe held by a hand. The shield is supported on sides by a pair of laurels, crested by a mortarboard hat, and its motto ‘Learn! Grow! Serve!’. Below the shield, on a blue banner, the name of the college is inscribed in yellow. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the charka refers to village industries and self-reliance; the book with nib refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the farmer refers to agriculture and farming; the globe on hand refers to protection of the world and sustenance of the populace; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

The name of the college is written on the right. The book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the stomach diagram refers to science and technology; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the stars symbolise high standards and performance and achievement.

ADHIYAMAN ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (AASCW)

ADHIYAMAN ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN (AASCW) The emblem of Adhiyaman Arts And Science College for Women (AASCW) features an image of king Adhiyaman with poet Avvaiyaar ensconced by a yellow circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a yellow banner, the motto of the college ‘Prosper and Help Others to Prosper’ is inscribed. The image symbolises Adhiyaman Neduman Anji (a 1st-century CE chieftain of Thagadoor, modern Dharmapuri) and the renowned Tamil poet Avvaiyar shared a famous, deep bond of friendship and mutual respect. As a dedicated patron, Adhiyaman gifted Avvaiyar a rare, immortal Nellikani (gooseberry) fruit, enabling her to live longer and continue serving Tamil literature.
