The emblem of Apollo Arts and Science College (AASC) features a red shield inscribed with the motifs of an open book supporting a flame and a mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels. The shield is surmounted by a blue banner inscribed with the name of the group and supported by another blue banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Educated Extolled Everywhere’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed. GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey.
