GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, KOMARAPALAYAM (GCEKPM) The emblem of Government College of Education, Komarapalayam (GCEKPM) features a shield with brown outlines housing the motifs of an open book supporting a mountain with rising sun and supported by a brown banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘கற்க அதன்படி நிற்க’ meaning ‘Learn and Act Accordingly’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mountains represents strength, permanence, and challenges, acting as a bridge between earth and heaven, symbolising spiritual ascent, divine encounters, and personal transformation; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom.
