The circular emblem of ARC Viswanathan College (ARCVC) features a shield inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘அன்பு அறிவு அடக்கம்’ meaning ‘Love Knowledge Humility’, the emblem of Bharathidasan University supported by a TMT bar, the initials of the founder ‘ARC’ and a glowing diamond ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The university emblem refers to the college’s affiliating university; the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the TMT bar refers to the major steel factory of the region; the diamond symbolises inner light, self expression, active energy, awakening and cosmic energy.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed.
