AKT MEMORIAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (AKTMCE) The emblem of AKT Memorial College of Education (AKTMCE) features a map of India (though incorrect) supported by an open book with a candle placed above the book. The motifs are ensconced by an orange circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on an orange banner, the motto of the college ‘Ethical Spiritual Intellectual’ is inscribed. The map refers to the college’s pan India aspirations; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the candle symbolises light in darkness, hope, life, memory, guidance, and spirituality, signifying warmth, knowledge, and the fragility of existence; and the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
