The blue emblem of Arasu Arts and Science College (Women) (AASCW) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a charka, an open book with a nib of a pen, a farmer with a hoe and a globe held by a hand. The shield is supported on sides by a pair of laurels, crested by a mortarboard hat, and its motto ‘Learn! Grow! Serve!’. Below the shield, on a blue banner, the name of the college is inscribed in yellow. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the charka refers to village industries and self-reliance; the book with nib refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the farmer refers to agriculture and farming; the globe on hand refers to protection of the world and sustenance of the populace; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes.
