VIRUDHUNAGAR M.S.P. NADAR COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (VMSPNCE) The emblem of Virudhunagar M.S.P. Nadar College of Education (VMSPNCE) features a blue shield inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘கற்போம் கற்பிப்போம்’ meaning ‘Let Us Learn and Teach’ supported by a traditional lamp on a lotus and an open book with the name of the college written along the bottom edge of the shield. A pair of palmyrah leaves support the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the lotus purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the palmyrah leaves refer to the local flora; and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
