SHRIRAM SHIKSHAN SANSTHA’S SHRIRAM INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (POLY & DEGREE) PANIV (SIETPANIV) The blue colour emblem of Shriram Shikshan Sanstha’s Shriram Institute of Engineering And Technology (Poly & Degree) Paniv (SIETPANIV) features a shield housing the motifs of a group of buildings, a mortar and pestle, a sheaf of crests of wheat and a pair of gear wheels supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the managing trust. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते’ (Shloka 38, Chapter 4, Srimad Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘In this World there Exists No Purifier Comparable to Knowledge’ is written at the bottom. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the buildings, gear wheels, mortar and pestle and wheat crests refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology.
