The emblem of Vijaya College of Education, Thadangam Village (VCE Thadangam) features a traditional lamp supported by a lotus and an open book and the name of the place, ensconced by a green circular border inscribed with the name of the college. At the bottom, on the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge - Dedication - Progress’ is inscribed. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; and the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom.

UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR The University of Jammu and Kashmir was founded in 1948. In the year 1969 it was bifurcated into University of Kashmir (UoK) at Srinagar and University of Jammu at Jammu. The UoK is situated at Hazratbal in Srinagar. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears.
