YADAVA COLLEGE The blue and green compass shaped emblem of Yadava College features a gopuram of a temple placed on a 12 petal flower spread in the centre surrounded by a ‘kuthuvilakku’ (a traditional lamp) being lit by a hand, a profile of Lord Balakrishna, a cow and its calf and an open book. The motifs are ensconced by a circular border of the compass inscribed with the status of the college. The compass is supported by a blue banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘அறிவே செல்வம்’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Wealth’. The compass denotes direction, guidance, and adventure, symbolising a safe, guided journey through life's challenges and the ability to find one's way.
