ANNAI HAJIRA WOMEN'S COLLEGE (AHWC) The circular seal of Annai Hajira Women's College (AHWC) features a globe of the world inscribed with the motifs of the Kaaba, an open book, and the initials of the college ‘AHWC’. The Kaaba is the holiest site in Islam, a cube-shaped structure located in the center of Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia and refers to the religious affiliation of the college and divine blessings and guidance. The globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; and the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
