ANSALDO COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (ANSALDOBED) The blue and grey seal of Ansaldo College of Education (AnsaldoBEd) features a globe supporting an open book and a pair of abstract humans with mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels. A cross crests the motifs and its initials ‘ACE’ and its year of inception support them. The assemblage is placed on a blue shield which is placed on a grey circle which is ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college. Below the seal, on a blue banner, the motto of the college ‘Educate to Edify’ is inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the humans with mortarboard hats refer to the successful graduates; and the Cross refers to ...
