ARCOT LUTHERAN CHURCH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (ALCCE) The emblem of Arcot Lutheran Church College of Education (ALCCE) features a  red shield inscribed with a red cross supported by a traditional lamp on a lotus in a circle surmounted by the name of the college. The motto of the college 'Education Empowers’ is inscribed on a banner placed on the shield at the bottom. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; The cross refers to the college’s religious affiliation and the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ in Christianity, representing God’s love, salvation, and the forgiveness of sins; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
