GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, TRAL (GDC TRAL) The predominantly green and violet emblem of Government Degree College, Tral (GDC Tral) features a circular border inscribed with the name and year of establishment of the college housing the motif of a shield inscribed with the images of an abstract, glowing, multi-coloured tree structure arising from an open book; a hangul (Kashmiri Stag) in a forest setting and a lighted and glowing candle and the name of the college in Kashmiri ‘گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج ترال’. The motto of the college in Arabic ‘مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ’, which translates to ‘From Darkness to Light’ is written on a banner placed below the seal.
