GOVERNMENT COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, BHAGWATI NAGAR (GCWBN) The emblem of Government College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar (GCWBN) features a circle with blue outline housing the motifs of an open book, a glowing sun with radiant rays, alighted candle and a lighted candle and the tagline of the college ‘Character is Supreme’ placed on the background of a blue sky, green grass and water. The year of the establishment of the college is written on the book. The circle is surmounted by the college’s motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानप्रसारो व्रतम्’, ‘From Darkness to Light’ and ‘اندھیرے سے روشنی کی طرف’ and supported by a pair of green laurels. The initials of the college and the place of the college are written on a red banner placed below the seal.
