DY. SP SHRI GHANI SHAM KHAJURIA GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE, DOONGI (GDC DOONGI) The emblem of Dy. SP Shri Ghani Sham Khajuria Government Degree College, Doongi (GDC Doongi) features a circle with black and orange outlines housing the motifs of a lighted candle supported by a book and the year of establishment of the college. The circle is ensconced by a circular border with an orange outline inscribed with the name and place of the college. The motto of the college ‘Endeavour to Excel’ is written on a black banner placed below the seal. The lit candle represents the spark of intellect, truth and the pursuit of enlightenment and it signifies how education serves to dispel the darkness of ignorance. The book functions as a foundation for the candle, symbolising structural learning, stored knowledge and the academic syllabus that grounds a student's education.
