ARUMUGAM NALLAMANI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (ANCE) The emblem of Arumugam Nallamani College of Education (ANCE) features a bell placed within a nine-pointed red star ensconced by a pair of laurels, crested by a tiara and supported by a building. The motifs are supported by a blue banner inscribed with the motto of the college. The bell is the symbol of awakening, communication with the divine, and the clearing of negative energy, often serving as a bridge between the spiritual and physical realms; the nine-pointed star refers to perfection, unity and completeness; the tiara symbolises royalty, status, power, wealth, and beauty; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
