JHARKHAND VIDHI MAHAVIDYALAYA, KODERMA (JHARKHAND VIDHI) (JVM KODERMA) The emblem of Jharkhand Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, Koderma (Jharkhand Vidhi) (JVM Koderma) features the motifs of blind folded Lady Justice (Justitia), a two pan beam balance, a sword and sun rays emanating from the centre ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and motto of the college in Devanagari, The motto in Sanskrit ‘सत्यमेव जयते’ (Mantra 3.1.6, Mundaka Upanishad, Atharva Veda ), which translates to ‘Truth Alone Triumphs’. The Lady Justice is a traditional symbol of the legal profession symbolising  impartiality, indicating that justice should be administered without bias regarding wealth, power or status; the scales are the scales of justice representing fairness, balance and impartiality in the legal process; the sword symbolises the authority and power of the law to enforce judgments and punish wrongdoing; and the sun rays symbolise the light of knowledge and the dispelling of ignorance...
