BHARGAVA DEGREE COLLEGE, SAMBA (BDC SAMBA) The emblem of Bhargava Degree College, Samba (BDC Samba) features an oval housing the motifs of an open book supporting a lotus and a radiating traditional lamp with a pair of scrolls on the sides. The oval is ensconced by a border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa), which translates to  ‘Knowledge is the One That Liberates’ is placed below the oval seal. BHARGAVA COLLEGE, SAMBA (BDC SAMBA) The emblem of Bhargava College, Samba (BDC Samba) features an open book supporting lotus and a glowing traditional lamp supported on sides by a pair of scrolls. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its place. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददाति विनयम्’ (Narayan Pandit, 6, Hitopadesha), which translates to ‘Education Makes one Humble’ is inscribed on a banner placed below the seal.
