GOVERNMENT COLLEGE HARIPURDHAR (GC HARIPURDHAR) The emblem of Government College Haripurdhar (GC Haripurdhar) features a circle with a landscape of snow-capped mountain range with radiant rising sun, a blue mountain range, flowing water, an open book and a monal bird. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college in Devanagari. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ऋतं स्वाध्याय-प्रवचने’ (Verse 1.9.1, Anuvaka 9, Shiksha Valli, Taittiriya Upanishad), which translates to ‘Practice Divine Righteousness (or cosmic law) along with the Self-study and Teaching of the Scriptures’ is written on a grey banner placed below the seal.
