GOVERNMENT COLLEGE (GC BHIWANI) The emblem of Government College (GC Bhiwani) features a yellowish orange circle housing a landscape with a rising sun and a path ensconced by an orange circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college in Devanagari. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ऋते ज्ञानान्न मुक्तिः’ (Verse 15, Chapter 1, Rasahṛdayatantra, Govindabhagavatpāda; Mugdhāvabodhinī (the Sanskrit commentary by Caturbhujamiśra)), which translates to ‘There is No Emancipation Without Knowledge (of Brahman)’is written on a yellow banner, which placed below the seal. The rising sun represents the dawn of enlightenment, truth and the dispersal of the darkness of ignorance. The spreading rays symbolize the outward expansion and sharing of knowledge to benefit society. The path leading toward the horizon and the rising sun signifies the journey of learning and discipline that students embark upon to attain their higher goals.
