ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE GOVERNMENT INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (ABVGIET) The emblem of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering and Technology (ABVGIET) features an orange gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college housing a segment with the motifs of a hoe, a set of gear wheels, a suspension bridge, a laptop computer, a transmission tower and a pair of dish antennae. The bottom blue segment houses the motifs of a mountain range, a power symbol and crossed hammer and spanner supported by the initials of the college and the name of the place of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्याधनं सर्वधनप्रधानम्’ (Niti Satakam, Bhartihari), which translates to ‘Wealth of Education is the Supreme of all the Wealth’ is written on a green banner placed below the gearwheel.
