SIDDHI VINAYAK COLLEGE OF NURSING, SORO (SVCN SORO) The emblem of Siddhi Vinayak College of Nursing, Soro (SVCN Soro) features a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college supported by a pair of orange laurels on the sides and a blue banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Nurses are the Heart of Healthcare’ at the bottom. The motifs of an orange pair of hands holding a red open book inscribed with the images of a nurse and Lord Ganesha and a red traditional lamp are placed within the circular border. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the nurses refers to the nursing education; Lord Ganesha symbolises wisdom, prosperity, beginnings and removal of obstacles; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
