GOVERNMENT WOMEN’S POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE, BHOPAL (GWP BPL) The emblem of Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Bhopal (GWP BPL) features a grey circle housing two sets of three arcs in green and light green overlapping and supporting a glowing flame, the name of the college in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘तकनीकी शिक्षा प्रगतेः मार्गम्’, which translates to ‘Technical Education is the Path to Progress’. The flame represents the light of knowledge, enlightenment and the removal of ignorance; the stylised curved bands mimic industrial gears or technological waves and these directly represent polytechnic and technical engineering education, symbolising mechanical progress, technical growth, and the industrial readiness of the students.
