GAYA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (GCE GAYA) The emblem of Gaya College of Engineering (GCE Gaya) features a blue gearwheel housing the image of Gautama Buddha seated with abhaya mudra. The wheel is ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college in English and the name and place of the college in Devanagari. Gautama Buddha represents peace, wisdom, mindfulness and the rich historical heritage of Gaya (Bodh Gaya), where he achieved enlightenment. The abhaya mudra symbolises overcoming the fear of the unknown, imparting confidence, and offering protection and reassurance to students on their learning journey. The gearwheel symbolises technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
