The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे भवन्तु सुशिक्षिताः’, which translates to ‘May Everyone be Well-educated’ is written on the emblem. The mountain range with peaks directly signifies the institute's geographic identity located in the Himalayas of Himachal Pradesh; the open book is a universal symbol for knowledge, continuous learning and academic excellence, reflecting the college's core purpose as an educational hub; and the green landscape pays tribute to the actual surroundings of the college campus, which is nestled amid pollution-free green foliage and terraced hillsides in Banandar.
