COLLEGE OF HORTICULTURE & FSR, NALBARI (CHFSR NALBARI) The emblem of College of Horticulture & FSR, Nalbari (CHFSR Nalbari) features a dark circle housing the motifs of a cow and calf, a milk bottle, an open book and its motto in Sanskrit. The circle is ensconced by a yellow circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college in Devanagari and English. The cow and calf is a classic symbol of motherhood, fertility and prosperity. In the context of this college, it represents the primary source of the dairy industry - healthy livestock - and the nurturing aspect of milk production. The milk bottle signifies the processing, packaging and commercial aspects of dairy technology. The book represents the academic and research focus of the institution, emphasising human resource development and the science of dairy engineering and chemistry.
