GOVERNMENT WOMEN'S POLYTECHNIC, MUZAFFARPUR (GWP MUZAFFARPUR) The orange, red and pink emblem of Government Women's Polytechnic, Muzaffarpur (GWP Muzaffarpur) features the motifs of a lotus holding three abstract humans holding their hands, a pair of gear wheels, a transmission tower, a computer and a tailoring machine and the motto of the college ‘Empowering Women Empowering Nation’. These are circumscribed by the name and place of the college and its year of establishment. These are ensconced by circular outlines in red and orange. The lotus and the humans represent purity, resilience and growth. The petals transform into abstract, uplifting figures of women with raised arms, celebrating growth, independence and shared empowerment. The other motifs in the circle represent various fields of technical expertise taught at the institution.
